What does the role entail?
This is an exciting paralegal role supporting the fee earners as well as other members of our busy London office. The paralegal will have daily responsibility for drafting commercial and investment rounds documentation, dealing with Companies House filings, drafting and filing applications for European and international trademarks, assisting clients with data protection / GDPR compliance and working on tax incentive schemes specific to investors in startups. The candidate does not need to have had experience in all of these areas, but he will in time be involved in all of these sectors to a greater or lesser extent.
In addition, the paralegal will deal with a variety of issues as they arise. These might include conduct research, carry out instructions from clients and maintain effective and clear communication with them, attend and present in-house and external seminars as well as promote the brand and become a firm ambassador.
Good communication, client care and organisational skills as well as accuracy and drafting ability are all required.
